One of my favourite photos !!
Wolla has been living with me for whole 6 months, wow - time has flown by. Not a day has gone by that I haven't had him put a massive smile on my face and make me thankful for being able to be his Dad. He is growing into such a big boy, he is now 8.5 months old (his estimated DOB was 15 March 2025) and weighs 4.85kg.
Things have changed quite a bit as he's got bigger. He doesn't play with all his toys as much as he did before. He does go through phases of playing with certain ones on and off. He still enjoys his same meals but also gets treats. His 2 special treats when I have that he loves are Biltong (I don't get too often as it is so expensive now) and Fritos chips, ha ha ha - yes. He was also big time after my one Krispy Kreme glazed donut a few days ago.
He doesn't sleep on my bed with me anymore, once the really cold bits of winter was finished I took my fluffy blanket off the bed and it was about time when he was feeling more independant so finds his own place. I'm not 100% sure where he sleeps all the time. Sometimes I he just sleeps on my work chair, other times just next to the bed, I think. If I don't see him, by the time I've got up and anywhere to look he is here with me. He's quite a character and has the most amusing sleeping positions as you will see a few of below.
He's so cute he follows me everywhere, he can be fast asleep and I get up and sneak so as to try not wake him (suuuuure) and go to loo or make coffee or something and next thing I know he is right there. I feel bad sometimes that "I woke him up".
When I am having a shower he plays with his few favourite toys or just lies there waiting for me, I think the floor is nice and cool for him to lie on. As soon as I turn the water off he is standing on my bathmat waiting for me, if I dont get out the shower quick enough I'm told with a meow to hurry up. He then proceeds to help lick me dry, but getting himself a little in the process by wet rubbing against me, and then we go to the bedroom and he loves a good tickle, it's our routine now.
I still take so many photos of him as he is so cute and I just can't stop myself. I'll post them here, I'll try do it in some sort of orderly fashion but suspect that could be challenging, so may just jumble them up and leave them in a sort of date order.
