Wolla has been living with me for 3 months now so he said that it was about time we shared some photos and videos of what he has been up to. When I got him he was 850g and now he is about 3.2kg (he isn;t a big fan of being picked up so to weigh him isn't easy), wow - turning into a big boy now. When I look back at photos of him being small I can't believe how much he has grown up, and so quickly. He is now about 5.5 months old, this is only an estimate as being a rescue his DOB isn't really known, his vet's book says 15 March 2025, so I'm gonna go with that as his birthday.
We still have so much fun playing and just chilling with each other, and of course we love each other so much. He is quite spoilt, but he deserves it, I hope I'm not doing anything "bad" for him but I don't think so. He's had quite a few visitors and gets on well with everyone.
This update will have mostly stuff since the last one which you can see here. That was more in an Instagram type post, this one I struggled to choose what to fit into a smaller post, so I decided to slightly redo the site and put it on a web page with videos on YouTube.

He is super affectionate and loves to clean my fingers. Is quite funny, lately he even comes and licks my ankles and toes after I get out of the shower (no pics of video of that - wouldn't wanna scare anyone or get banned from YouTube)

Wolla can run only but super fast. He runs from the lounge to the bedroom when I move between the 2 places as he follows me everywhere. It sounds like a herd of buffalo coming with his galloping. Catolympic champion here I rekon !!

He has loads of toys and some new ones, he goes through phases of which he likes to play with then moves onto something else. The current favourite thing is his one brown mouse. He still loves his ping pong ballies and small plastic springs, both of those are so light and bounce all over the place easily. So many go under the bed that I've had to make a plan to stop that with some cardboard barriers (are a few gaps which, of course, they go through, but thats OK as I have ample spares. I check under the bed now and then and recover the lost ones). These days, whenever I get back from the shops I scrunch up the till slip and chuck it and he plays with that for a while, works a treat.

Another favourite is straws cut in half, he chases them all of the place, especially in the kitchen. The only problem, is that they keep going under the tumble drier, washing machine and fridge.

Sometimes he can get a little playful and bitey, I know he just wants attention and stuff and he's not trying to eat me for real, well I hope not anyway. I think he was maybe teething and getting adult teeth too. It's damn sore sometimes. But ... I'm alive still.

One of the funniest things Wolla does is he kinda hides behind the curtain/net curtain in the passageway and then when I walk down the passage he jumps out at me. It is so good. he stretches his front legs out and does a massive jump. The photos/videos will show this more.

Wolla was super lucky and I got him a scratching post from a person at work who was moving house and didn't need it, I had been looking at getting him one and coincidentally this offer came up. Wow, does he love scratching at that. You can see how is well used now vs when we got it.
